Hypnosis and Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is a widespread challenge, affecting as many as 50 million Americans, and lacks effective treatment options. The American College of Rheumatology defines chronic pain as pain occurring at least 4 days per week for at least 3 months. If there is pain at 11 or more of the 18 defined trigger points, the condition is defined as fibromyalgia.

Hypnosis and Chronic Pain

This is interesting. I wonder if insurance companies will start paying for this.

This article works here too Mike. Chronic pain is chronic pain no matter what its source and we are all looking for relief. If hypnosis would take away my pain and allow me to have my life back I would definitely do it in a heart beat.

Me too! I would try anything

I would do just about anything to have even one day without pain. Just one day. One day to do whatever I want without the pain holding me back or slowing me down.

Well then would some one please hypnotize me. I'm having such a flare of back pain from all that driving I did

What is it about driving??? Anytime I drive for than 1 1/2 hours, I can hardly walk!!

You ladies both need to tell you bosses NO NO NO!!!

Brianna does a whole lot more driving than I do.....I am required by HUD law to deposit the rents the first 10 days of the month.....I only go 3 or 4 days because it is 53 miles round trip....Brianna is driving hundreds of miles daily...I could not do it, I would be crippled in 2 days. The fibro has settled in my right hip/leg and doesn't want to move. I have days on end that I can't sit for longer than 10 minutes. I have it today in both legs from driving down to Phx. last night....If Jack wasn't driving to San Diego, I wouldn't be going. At least if I am not driving, I can change position, move around a bit, or what ever. But to drive that far, not a chance! And it is less than 300 miles away; Brianna does that sometimes each day.

I could never drive the amount the Brianna does. I have to stop every 20 minutes to walk around for a few minutes. If I don't the pain gets so bad after about 30 minutes that I can't drive any more. Found that out the hard way. Of course, I can't even sit in a chair for more than 20 minutes without getting up to walk around either.

Brianna shouldn't be doing all that driving with her back the way it is. But she won't speak up
