| ventrilo is a program .. there are two kinds .. a server and a client .. it's easily downloadable .. and all you need is a mic and speakers and you can instantly log on (push the connect button) and WHAM! .. you're in a little voice chat room where your friends can pop on at anytime and you can actually talk to them

the server usually costs someone about 10$ a month to run but once that's done 30 or so ppl can get on and hang out at any time | |
