We have a new friend named Bigmomma who I met on facebook. I want to be the first to welcome her to Hugz. She is our first Canadian member as far as I know I love her dearly and am so happy she has chosen to join us and make our little world a happier place. Welcome Bigmomma!

Thanks to all of my new friends for such a warm welcome. I guess I will start by telling you a little about myself. I am in my late fifties married and live in Calgary Alberta. My plate is very full these days. I have adopted my two granddaughters five years ago as thier mom and dad got into the drugs and the girl were taken away. I had to step in or we would have lost them. It is not easy to be a mom again at this age the girls are now six and seven years old. I also take care of my mom as I am the only one she has. THis is not an easy job as she is very demanding and not in very good health. I also work in my home taking care of three other children in my dayhome. My days start at 5am and usally end around 11 pm. But I allways try to find time to touch base with friends on facebook and now hopefully with my new friends on hugs.

I'm sooo glad you're here! I know you'll find a HUGE support system, a place to dump (we all need that!!!) and lots of giggles cuz we're a bunch of Hugz Nutz as someone put it just yesterday. Luv ya, Sistah!

Well I made it to the end of my work day all the children have gone home. It's snowing again one day it hotter then hell and the next it is freezing. It's no wonder every bone in my body hurts. I hate getting old. Oh well I'll take a couple more pain pill and have a laugh or two and a cup of coffee and all will be right with the world. Or I will pretend it is anyway. Hee.... Hee...

MMMM...the joys of coffee when it's cold. It's pretty warm here...in the 80's but still cooling off quickly at night which is nice. I can't even imagine snow right now...brrrr.
