Ideas Needed

I need your help friends in planning a very special meal for someone. I don't want to do take out, I was this to be special. I'm not a real good cook but I can learn.

I can make mean mashed potatoes though

I make a killer roast! And it is so easy: One chuck roast, brown it on both sides, add 2 cans each of french onion soup and beef broth soup and about 4 cups of coffee use the coffee, it is the secret of the recipe . Let it cook for about 6 hours and it is done. Watch so it doesn't cook down too much if it does, just add water. you can add veggies and potatoes for pot roast or make gravy and put it over rice or noodles or add green chilies and make burrito's and put them in a 9X 13 baking dish pour green chili enchilada sauce and cheese on top and bake them, that is really good. you could even get some large rolls and make french dip. just a suggestion good luck; I promise, it is great!

It looks like sugar peas filled with cream cheese spread (super easy) and topped with pimentos (come in a jar). I think you would just get the snow peas from the veggie dept. and wash and dry them, string them and open them up. Take spreadable cream cheese and gently fill each pod (I would put the peas from inside into the cream cheese first), then top each off with the pimentos. Easy appetizer. I don't know what it is..I just saw the pic and thought it looked nummy.

The vegie department, where is that at?

Zucchini, mushrooms, onion, tomato, all cooked in a frying pan till just softened, then sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese, yum! (have you noticed I really like one pan dishes?)
