I need........don't know

I'm having had a hard weekend. I had a horrible flashback today or yesterday, I cant remember. I cant sleep very well, I feel like I am drained. I don't normally get this way. I'm depleted and I need to cry and I cant....I have therapy Monday but who knows. I need support from here and I just cant get it out.

Megan, that is how I would catch myself feeling when my depression was at it's worst. I finally found a few trustworthy people to "hold some of my stuff" as it was too heavy for me. I found after telling ONE person, then telling a group that it got lighter, easier to talk about and it was like it broke a spell, letting it out -- not that it was/is all better, just less threatening. I am adding you to my list and you can consider yourself prayed for!!!!!

I KNOW how hard it is, and the bravery it takes to intentionally GO INTO a wound, but the way to healing is to name it, talk it out, and to begin to recognize that YOU are bigger and well, just MORE than your problems or even a lifetime of experiences. Ask God to "go there" with you. In His loving prescence, it is possible to face the enemies of our souls. He is capable to heal our wounded "broken-ness" with our permission and availability.
