I have a question!

My name is Cheyanne. Jacki is my grammy. Does anybody here have any kids that I could post with about living with someone in pain all the time. I am 9, and none of my friends know what it is like. Mammy said I could ask. Mammy used to be able to do all kinds of things with me before the fibro. I really wish we didn't have that car accident. Thank you for letting me ask a question. Cheyanne

I sorry, my kids are both older and are grown up, I really wish I could help you out sweetie, but if you want to post here, we will certainly listen to you, I know I would understand how frustrating it is for you.....I see the frustration in other people about me sometimes. Hi, this is Cheyanne.

I get angry a lot about Mammy's fibro. It's not fair that she can't do stuff like she used to. She tries, but it hurts her. I help her with some stuff, like making dinner and doing dishes.
Is it ok for me to get mad even though it's not Mammy's fault? Mammy says it is, but sometimes I feel bad for getting mad at her but I just can't help it.

We have fun cooking, except for when she makes me touch chicken. yuck!

Hi Cheyanne! So very nice to meet you! Any yes it is OK to get angry because Mammy can't do the things she use to! I was just recently diagnosed with fibro too and I get mad because I can't do what I used to! I get very angry about it myself. My boyfriend is far more understanding than I am....it is very frustrating for everyone when someone you love suddenly can't do all of the things you all used to do together and getting angry about it is normal, and you know what? I hate touching raw chicken too

It's okay to get angry kiddo but just make sure you give her a big hug before you go to bed. Never ever go to bed angry.

Hi Cheyanne! It's so nice to see you in here! It's sooo normal for you to feel angry. The truth is..you're not really angry at your Mammy, even tho it seems to you like you are. You're really angry at the fibro, but since you can't yell at that, Mammy's right there. It's okay, just make sure it doesn't take control of your life. My Daddy had polio when I was little, so he wasn't able to do the things after that he once was, and I got really mad. Hang in there, honey and stop in when you need to. I think you're very brave for coming in here with your question. I'm so proud of you!

Thank you for answering my question. I feel better now. I always give Mammy a hug and a kiss before I go to bed. And we always say we love each other, not just at bedtime either. And we hug lots too even though it hurts Mammy. She says she loves huggles and cuddles with us.

Tonight was Emily's turn to help make dinner. She only broke the spagetti so it would fit in the pot. Mammy did the rest, but Emily is only 6.

The chicken was already cooked Terry, but it still grossed me out to take it off the bones. Mammy says I'm a goof because I wouldn't touch the chicken but I wanted to mix the meatlofe with my hands.



I have to go get ready for bed now and my computer time for today is up. I'll come back tomorrow if I can.

good morning every one. Today is my turn to help cook again. I am making tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Mammy says I have to eat a veggie too. For dessert we are making chocolte chip cookies. I like to just eat the dough. Sometimes mammy freezes the dough in little cup thingies and we can have that for a snack sometimes. Terry, you can come to our house and mammy can show you how to cook when she is showing me and Emily. Tomorrow I am helping make turkey cutlets. Mammy says I have to touch the turkey. Yuck!!!!!!!!! Your smilies are so cool. I like them.

Mammy says I have to go do my chores now. We can't go to church because Emily is sick so I have to get my chores done now in stead of after church. I'll come back again. maybe later today if I still have computer time left.

Hi everybody. Mammy says she'll get me my name here when Briana is done with her tex season. So, Mammy makes me and Em take 2 bites of all the food that we make for dinner even is she knows we don't like it. She said that the 2 bite rule is good cause we could change our minds about what we like. But, I really do NOT like cucumbers and she made me take 2 bites of them anyway. ick yuck ew. Do you think I'll ever like cucumbers? they are gross!!!

Oh yeah, Turkey meatloaf is my favorite to make and to eat. You just use ground up turkey instead of ground up cow. It tastes soooo good. And turkey meatballs too.

Hi Princess! You may just end up liking cucumbers! There were a lot of things I didn't like growing up like sweet potatoes and cranberries, but now I LOVE them ! My Mom made me eat ALL of my food back then in the olden days when we had to ride our dinosaurs to school. Maybe your Mammy could try some of those different kinds of cucumbers they sell now that don't have so many seeds...I really like those better than the regular ones. Ya know what??? I think you're pretty kewl! I wish I could have learned to cook when I was your age. I used to ask my Mom if I could help when she was cooking and she would say, "Yes..you can help by getting out of my hair!"
