It isn't recommended for anyone with mania or family history of heart disease I won't be able to take it plus it will be cost prohibitive for the first few years.

Same for me Terry, but it's still a major positive for the fibro community at large. Lyrica is said to help only less than 30 % of the people who try it, if another close to 30% are helped with this new med that's awesome. Hopefully more meds will be developed soon that will help those who can't take the two that are available now.
