hey there. I'm OK... life just gets to me sometimes. Y'know the old "bull's eye on the hiney" routine. It has been a rough stretch, but as always, stronger because of it. So I guess, "thanks for the trials" I must be one tough mutha. A good friend says, "pressure and time makes diamonds" shine on you crazy diamond...
I wish I could see these things coming and recognize them for what they are before they knock me silly. Oh well, life is good. We opened the first jar of stuff I pickled and canned -- dilly beans -- and they WERE good! Between the jelly and the pickles I think I have gifts for all the extended family adults. Oh, and I potted up some spring bulbs and am "forcing" them so they will bloom late Dec. We will wrap the pots in some foil wrapping paper and put a ribbon on them. Darn, I almost forgot it is time to make door swags for gifts -- we trim up the evergreens and wire together with cones and holly with a nice big red bow. They look great and have become a tradition for the kids and I to make. My mother in law is gonna get some plants from my "nursery" -- she wants a red current and I may give her some Kiwi vines that I started from cuttings.
I'm sorry to have worried any of you. I just have to hiberate when I am like that, as I am really NOT fit company and have done/said stupid things when in that state. I hope you all understand
