Ok, today I don't even have words. I don't know why, but today I feel like I been a bad puppy and I'm getting my nose rubbed in it. I am so stinkin' overwhelmed. I feel helpless, frustrated and defeated before I even start. I know we all have days like this and it will pass and all of that. Sometimes I just wonder why we bother against such odds. Why do I fight so hard for dignity? Too many wounds, but when that's what you are made of, what would you be if not for them? I wear out the prayer for a miracle, till it is so thin and worn. Sigh

Pariah I wish I could reach into this screen and give you a big {{{{hug}}}}. I know some days it feels like you're getting crapped on left to right. Lean on us friend. We'll try to help you through this

How's it going today Pariah

well... I woke up at 3am with one finger hot, hard and painful... found a thorn under my nail... dug it out and slept until noon (YIKES!). Finger is better but that infection stuff scares me! I've had three go-rounds with life-threatening staph. One was my leg which was mangled in my wreck... the others have no exlplaination! Needless to say, I get nervous any time I get those symptoms. I have been running around all afternoon getting the house clean and details all set up with our loan (MDW and I ALMOST fought last night over that again ~sigh). I'm still working on the details for my daughter's summer dance school... and now I am wiped out and HURTING. Time to go ride the easy chair (my favorite ride)

I feel soooo close to just having a total meltdown right now. To say I've been overdoing it would be a huge understatement. I really needed to have the best vegtable garden this year, but it has been sooooo cold and cloudy I have lost a ton of stuff. What has survived has been eaten or trampled (I even strung electric fence all around it) . I'm just very down and HURTING. No relief, but tomorrow is refill day... so at least this is the last day of scrimping and scraping. Oh, I know I "got it made" am not flooded out, nor torn apart by some twister. WHY do I feel like this? I hope this is just because the weather is crashing into another low and too much work OK, that is all I can say 'bout it right now
I am a survivor ~ain't nothin killed me yet, not even death!

I'm so sorry Pariah about the bad weather and your vegetables. Please don't have a total meltdown, lean on us, let us help you. I don't know what "refill day" means but I hope it eases some of your worries
