| Courage is doing what is right Without having to be told Courage is manning up When you know you've done something wrong Courage is looking the enemy in the eye And telling them to just bring it Courage is having fear But still staying strong Courage is facing adversity But being able to overcome it Courage is leaving your family behind To defend the country you love Courage is being a soldier In the greatest army in the world Thank you for this courage That lets us live free May God bless you And come home safely to your families | |

| Good Stuff!!! Thanks for sharing... perzactly how I feel! I make a point to thank vets... esp. Vietnam vets -- they have not heard thank you near enough. One guy I shook hands with and looked him in the eye and said "THANK YOU!" to cried and said it was THE FIRST TIME anyone has said that to him. How sad! I liked this, Mike. Keep writtin'!! john | |

| That's wonderful Mike :) My sister always thanks vets and cries. My brother is a Vietnam War Vet and he lives with me. He was in Russian waters though and a prisoner for a brief time. My brother in law died from agent orange poisoning he recieved in Vietnam and a guy I use to have a crush on when I was in elementary school and he was in high school died in Vietnam. His name is James Cravens and his name is on the wall. | |
