Prozac

I thought I would start some topics about the different meds we take for our depression and maybe the pro's and con's we find with them....maybe they will help someone out down the line!!

I've been on prozac for over a year and it works wonders for me

I loved prozac, but the doc said it made me too happy so he doubled the dose and I was like a zombie, then he changed it to another med.

I couldn't sleep with it so we tried Zoloft and so far it's working good

I tried Prozac once and it threw me into my first manic episode, not fun

It did nothing for me except make me gain weight

i tried prozac to help with my bad OCD issues but it jsut didnt put a dent in them so eventually i switched ot lexapro and so far at 15mg a day it is working great.

Wow....with all the different problems people have had, I guess I should feel lucky that it works so well for me
