Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

I think what they're saying is you have to use Photobucket or some other hosting service. They sent me an email about a host for the board but have no idea what to do with it

Here is how you post an image:

Click on the little tree in the toolbar under the subject line above the reply box when you are replying or posting a new message.
It will open a little box where you paste the url of your picture such as the one below of an arrowhead I found.
I use photobucket for my picture host :)

Hmmm maybe I'm seeing something different. I don't see a tree and I'm getting a message about hosting it. I have a Photobucket account too. I'm so confused

Click on "Post Reply"
Look right above the box and you will see a line of small icons beginning with a B an I a U an S and so on.
The little icon of a tree will be the 16th box down from left to right.
Click on that and have the url of your picture ready to paste in the box and click ok :)
See if that helps.

I don't have a photobucket account but I see the tree. Brianna it's right next to the chain :D

Lost One asked me to post this for her when she first got him. She was so excited. She can't have pets where she lives but Terry, who is an apartment manager, advised her of her rights and she got a note from her pdoc. I added the bubble for her

I love the bubble and what it says
