| I have decided this is the only way I will make sweet corn again. Absolutely wonderful! Soak corn for 20 to 30 minutes. ( I usually lay a cutting board on them to hold them under the water) Do not husk! Shake off excess water. Place on grill medium heat, turn after 5 minutes. Lower heat. I usually then move them to the top rack, and cook the meat. Total grill time is about 30 minutes. To serve: pull back husk, the silk will peel with it. Serve with butter, salt and pepper. | |

| you can also husk the corn, wrap it in foil and put on the grill while your meat is cooking. No soaking needed. This is the only way the girls and I have cooked it for years. well....except for the time the grill caught fire while the corn was on it. Of course, the girls said that was the best it's ever tasted and the darn grill just refuses to catch fire again. | |

| I might give that a try today Jacki. I'm having some friends over for a BBQ this afternoon. I have to light my outside fire because it's supposed to be cold | |

| I'm glad you all enjoyed the corn Brianna. During the spring, summer and fall we use the grill daily and I'm always on the lookout for different ways too cook stuff on the grill. This was a great one! I even cooked a pot roast on the grill this past summer. Best roast I ever had! | |

| If I had a gas grill I would use it all winter Brianna. Unfortunately my grill is a big old electric grill and well....electricity and snow just aren't a good combination. I keep saying I'm going to replace it with a gas one, but it still works so well I just haven't done it. The first year we had the grill, we started using it every day until winter. When I put it in the shed until spring, the girls asked me how we were going to cook now with no grill. I told them I would use the stove during the winter, and they said that food doesn't taste right from the stove. And they have come up with some pretty inventive ideas on how to get the grill in the house so we can use it in the winter.
