crud!

One day, three middle-aged friends go for a hike. Suddenly the trail leads to a clearing with a cliff overlooking the sea. It is the most beautiful thing the guys have seen, but even more surprisingly, they see a swami in silk robes levitating in the lotus position. He says, "Ohh weddy good, I have been waiting for you, to show you your way to your destiny!" The guys crack up and joke about it... but they are shaken by seeing him there several feet above the ground -- defying gravity. The swami goes on to say, "You see dis iss a magic cliff most wonderful! You simply vocalise your dearest inner dream as you dive off the cliff... and you will meet your destinly most excellent!" This is clearly too much for the guys and they balk. But the swami demonstrates by diving off the cliff and saying, "Butterfly!" and instantly he is transformed into a butterfly! Wow, so the first guy says "fellas, my life is *&$^%! here I go... Eagle!" and away he flies. The next dives off the cliff and says "Dolphin!" Splash, away he swims. The third guy gets a good running start, but trips at the last second and calls out "Crap!"

Now that's a good one. I never know what the punch line is going to be
