I was supposed to start that EECP procedure today..that one that squeezes your legs and lower torso to improve circulation in your heart and it has proven to create new blood vessels in your heart but...sob I'm so full of lupus pain that I just can't do it and I can't expect them to keep this spot open forever. I called and told them to give it to someone who can commit to it. I've had to cancel twice because of the lupus flairs cry . Oh well...life moves on.

group hug Michelle. So sorry your lupus is being such a pain in the ....well, you know.

Mike, the snowdrops are popping up, the pussywillows are open and I saw a few robins and bluebirds. Spring is here!

The good news today is that I am still functioning (on a basic level anyway) and I managed to make pancakes for the girls. The bad news is that the assisted living facility misled my mom about the financial arrangements they were willing to make with Mrs. B...she can't get into this one. So, now we have to look for another one or a nursing home. My parents are going to be delayed now coming home, my dad's surgery has been postponed for at least two weeks so he can have a cardiac workup first.

My fibro is flared up really bad, so I'm hurting, tired, cranky and frustrated.

Happy St. Paddy's day love Court was ok as court can be......I got an extension, need a lawyer... sob the fibro is acting up and the RA. Probably the stress. I need to sleep but if tonight is like last nigh....will probably be on the computer instead of driving myself nuts, short drive that it is bang head Have a great St. Paddy's day all big grin

I finally got some sleep last night..I've only slept 2 nights in 5... nap and my body is so sore from the lupus flare. This one is a bad one..but I press on..thank God for facebook. I know that sounds so stupid, but before I discovered it, I would sit and stare at the TV and feel as if I were losing my mind. At least now I keep busy with all of the goofy games on there and I've met some very nice people so I can actually socialize a bit. Have a beautiful day everyone. I luv you guys so much. I don't know if you realize just how much... love

Wish I could kill off that darned pain monster! Yesterday I spent from 7:30am til 6:30 pm at the doctors and then at the ER with Mrs. B. She has lost 20 lbs. since the beginning of Feb., fell 3 times and wandered twice (the last time she tried breaking into someones truck to rescue kids that were only there in her mind). The docs FINALLY agreed with me that she isn't safe being alone anymore and admitted her to the Senior Medical/Mental Health Unit. I am so flared up that I couldn't hold on to the pen properly to sign the millions of forms they threw at me and my whole body is screaming. Typing even hurts! The neuropathy in my hands and feet is so bad that walking is a new experience in pain/burning. Not sure if I'll be able to even get shoes on today. Emotionally I am just drained. It's been a rollercoaster ride and will probably continue until I get her settled in a nursing home. I'll be back at the hospital later this morning for meetings with the psyc. and social workers. They are helping me get her placed in a nursing home, so that's one thing I don't have to do alone now. Will keep you updated when I can.
