So hard to mow

Both my husband and I are always in alot of pain but between the both if us, we can get the yard work done, maybe, but I sure am paying for it right now.
I only take motrin or tylenol and ultram if it gets too bad because my anxiety makes me scared to take anything but my husband has all kinds of pain medicine he has to take.
Is anyone else in really bad pain but scared to take narcotics for it ?
I am such a wimp.

Well first of all I have someone cutting my grass. He only charges $30 a week and it's so worth it. He bags everything and edges and blows all the clippings away so it's money well spent.

I'm not afraid to take anything. I try not to, especially when I have to work but the pain is so bad some days. Right now I'm taking Vicodin, Percoset, Cymbalta and Neurontin. So I'm not chicken :roll:

i have a herniated disc and in alot of pain, im also an ex drug abuser, you name it ive abused it............so its only tylonal for me :(

Hey man as long as you get some relief somehow.

I have to get out there and cut it today. After days of rain it's grown like a week. Not looking forward to it :(

thank god my son will do it, hell io just bought him a 88 mustang and a lap top com. he has been real cool bout helping me since i hurt myself, i will say that

The only pain reliever I try to take is Tylenol and the occasional Motrin...I try really hard to stay away from the heavy meds!!

I should not have, but I moved some old tires today and it sure did hurt me so I took a motrin and it helped even though I will pay for what I did for days.
I had to move them to try and see where my dogs are getting out of the fence.
We are still clearing this place off and whoever lived here before left such a mess and alot of old tires.
I am still having a hard time trying to make myself understand I can't do the things I use to

That's what's so hard about living in chronic pain, accepting the fact that we can't do the things we once could. I used to ski and now I can't. I tried but my legs wouldn't move
